Why FE colleges should record lessons

You’re invited to a free half-day afternoon workshop: Why video matters to today’s student learners – and what that means for colleges

Further education colleges are invited to attend a seminar taking place in Central London on 16th July . The event will showcase how recordings to improve teaching and learning. It will also highlight why video is such an important learning medium for today’s students, and demonstrate how integrating video into teaching approaches can:

  • Increase student engagement
  • Boost retention rates
  • Raise student attainment

Drawing on comments made in the recent FELTAG report, this event will help equip you to better understand how and why video technology matters to your students and why it should be a part of your college’s strategy. Benn Cass, John Leggott College’s Technology for Learning Manager, will be presenting a case study from his own college, talking about how video has helped them enhance the student experience and improve the quality of teaching.
